Todd Moe, Morning Show host on NCPR, recently re-aired an episode from a few years ago of his interview of Bill Parmer, St. Lawrence County's plein air artist. Mr. Moe stated that he was driving along a country road in the county when he passed Mr. Parmer painting a rural pasture scene standing alongside the road.  It was a sunny day
  
Don't be surprised if you're driving down one of St. Lawrence County's more rural roadsides and see a man with his easel painting a roadside scene; it will be Bill Parmer, especially if it's sunny out!
